Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using IdeaStream ("the Service"), operated by Alserda Tech AB ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IdeaStream is a platform that provides AI-generated business idea analyses, idea generation, project planning (Blueprint Builder), and conversational AI assistance (Idea Chat). The content is generated by automated AI systems and should be used as a starting point for your own research, not as definitive business advice.

3. User Accounts

You may need to create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account.

4. Subscription & Payments

IdeaStream offers free and paid subscription tiers (Pro and Pro+). Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or yearly through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Prices are listed in USD. Lemon Squeezy handles all tax/VAT compliance globally. You may cancel your subscription at any time — access continues until the end of your current billing period.

We may change our prices with 30 days written notice. Existing subscriptions will not be affected until their next renewal date.

Free users receive a one-time trial of certain paid features (Idea Lab, Blueprint Builder) with limited preview. This trial cannot be reset or repeated.

4.4 Feature Limits. Each subscription tier includes monthly usage limits on AI-powered features, including but not limited to: idea generations, blueprint builds, idea validations, chat messages, launch playbooks, and custom prompts. These limits are published on our pricing page, enforced automatically, and reset on the first of each calendar month (UTC). Features not explicitly listed as limited are subject to reasonable use.

4.5 Limit Changes. We reserve the right to adjust feature limits at any time. Material reductions to existing paid plan limits will be communicated with at least 30 days written notice. Attempting to circumvent feature limits — including but not limited to creating multiple accounts, using automated tools, or exploiting API endpoints — constitutes a violation of these Terms and may result in immediate account suspension.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your profile page. Upon cancellation, your paid access remains active until the end of your current billing period (monthly or annual). No further charges will be made after cancellation.

We do not offer refunds for subscription fees already paid. Because the Service delivers AI-generated content instantly upon use, each billing period is considered fully consumed once it begins. This applies to both monthly and annual plans.

If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing the Service for an extended period, contact us at support@ideastreamai.com within 14 days and we will assess your case on an individual basis.

6. AI-Generated Content

Content generated by the Service (including business ideas, analyses, PRDs, tech stack recommendations, cost estimates, and build prompts) is created by AI and provided for informational purposes only. We make no guarantees regarding the accuracy, originality, or commercial viability of AI-generated content.

You are free to use AI-generated content from the Service for your personal or business purposes. However, identical or similar content may be generated for other users. We do not claim ownership of the output, but we also do not guarantee exclusivity.

7. Intellectual Property

The IdeaStream platform, including its design, code, and branding, is our intellectual property. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to access and use the Service for your personal or internal business purposes. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or redistribute the platform itself.

8. User Content

Any content you submit (including preferences, chat messages, idea descriptions, bookmarks, and feedback) remains your property. By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use it for providing and improving the Service, including sending it to third-party AI services for processing.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• •Abuse, exploit, or circumvent rate limits or usage restrictions.
• •Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission.
• •Share your account credentials with others or create multiple accounts to bypass limits.
• •Use the Service for any illegal or harmful purpose.
• •Resell, redistribute, or sublicense access to the Service outside of the official White-Label program.
• •Scrape, crawl, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service, its algorithms, or underlying technology.
• •Use the Service to build or operate a competing product or service.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies, outdated information, or errors. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any analysis or recommendation. Business decisions made based on our content are your sole responsibility.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, IdeaStream shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost revenue, or business decisions made using our platform. Our total liability is limited to the amount of fees you have paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

12. Termination

12.1 Termination by IdeaStream. We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without cause, with or without prior notice, at our sole discretion. Grounds for termination include, but are not limited to, violation of these Terms, non-payment, abusive behavior, or any activity that harms the Service or other users.

12.2 Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your access to the Service ceases immediately. No refunds will be issued for any prepaid subscription fees, including unused portions of annual plans.

12.3 Data After Termination. Following termination, your data will be retained for 30 days. You may request a data export during this period by contacting support@ideastreamai.com. After 30 days, all data associated with your account will be permanently deleted.

12.4 Termination by User. You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription from your profile page and contacting support to confirm account deletion.

12.5 Survival. Sections relating to intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and disclaimers shall survive termination of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Sweden.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless IdeaStream, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

16. White-Label Platform Terms

The following terms apply to participants in the IdeaStream White-Label program ("WL Tenants"). These terms supplement the general Terms of Service above.

16.1 License. IdeaStream grants WL Tenants a non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to operate a branded instance of the IdeaStream platform for commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and your active subscription.

16.2 Intellectual Property. IdeaStream retains full ownership of all technology, code, algorithms, designs, and intellectual property underlying the platform. WL Tenants may not copy, decompile, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the platform.

16.3 Branding. WL Tenants may customize the visual appearance of their instance (logo, colors, favicon) but may not claim ownership of the underlying platform technology or misrepresent the origin of the Service.

16.4 WL Termination. IdeaStream may terminate a WL Tenant's access: (a) with 30 days written notice for convenience; or (b) immediately, without notice, for cause — including non-payment, abuse, reputational harm, Terms violation, or operating a competing service. Upon termination, end-user data is retained for 90 days to allow export, after which it is permanently deleted.

16.5 Tenant Responsibility. WL Tenants are solely responsible for their end-users' compliance with applicable laws, including GDPR, local privacy regulations, and consumer protection laws. WL Tenants must maintain their own privacy policy and terms of service for their end-users.

16.6 Service Changes. IdeaStream reserves the right to modify, add, or remove features, change pricing, and adjust resource limits at any time. Material changes affecting WL Tenants will be communicated with reasonable notice.

16.7 Service Level. No SLA (Service Level Agreement) is provided unless a separate Enterprise agreement has been executed. IdeaStream will use commercially reasonable efforts to maintain platform availability.

16.8 Resource Limits. Each WL plan includes a maximum user cap and per-user feature limits. Feature limits — including AI generations, builds, validations, chat messages, launch playbooks, and custom prompts — apply to each end-user based on their subscription tier, consistent with the limits published on the IdeaStream pricing page. IdeaStream may throttle or restrict access if a tenant exceeds its plan's user cap or if end-users engage in excessive resource consumption. WL Tenants may not offer their end-users higher feature limits than those provided by the platform. User caps and feature limits are subject to change per Section 16.6.

16.9 WL Indemnification. WL Tenants agree to indemnify and hold IdeaStream harmless from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the tenant's operation of their branded instance, including claims from end-users, regulatory actions, and third-party disputes.

16.10 Data Ownership. End-user data belongs to the end-users. WL Tenants have operational access to manage their user base. IdeaStream maintains administrative access for platform operation, security, and billing purposes.

17. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and IdeaStream regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements.
